Software DVDs

A network consists of multiple switches. As a result, a customer will have multiple identical DVDs. These DVDs cost money to dispose of responsibly and are a waste of environmental resources.

For these reasons, DVDs will no longer be supplied with the Hirschmann hardware devices. The latest versions of the relevant software, as well as previous versions, are available for download on our website. For those occasions when a buyer must have a back-up DVD for the software, a burnable ISO image containing the most recent releases will also be available online. This change is effective immediately.
